How to find The Waverley

Room 3

On the first floor and can be either twin bedded or have a king sized bed. It is at the rear of the building and has nice views of Whitby Abbey. There is an en-suite shower room.

Room 5

On the second floor and can either have a king sized bed or twin beds. It is at the rear of the building and has nice views of Whitby Abbey. There is an en-suite shower room.

Room 6

This second floor room has a double bed. It is at the front of the building and has views down the street towards the sea. There is an en-suite shower room.

Room 7

A good sized single bedded room on the second floor. It is at the front of the building. Although the room isn't en-suite it does have a private shower and toilet on the same landing and we provide you with a bath robe.

Room 9

On the third floor and having a double bed. It is at the rear of the building and has fabulous views of Whitby Abbey, you can even see the sea. There is an en-suite shower room.

Even though this is our smallest double many guests choose it for the view.

Room 10

On the third floor and having a double bed. It is at the front of the building and from the window seat has views down the street towards the sea and over the rooftops to the moors beyond. There is an en-suite shower room.

Situated on the second floor with plenty of seating, some games, books, magazines along with a TV and DVD player.

On the first floor and can be used by all guests.

Information

Each room has a comprehensive room pack with much information about Whitby and the surrounding area, eating out, our green policy and many other things.

We also have leaflets and offers from many attractions.

Parking

We have limited car park availability which must be prebooked as the rooms exceed the number of spaces.


On street parking is plentiful and free, in addition to which parking is free overnight in the large car park at the end of Crescent Avenue.

No Card Surcharges

Unlike most other bed and breakfast establishments we do not apply a surcharge to use your credit or debit card.

  • All of our rooms are recently decorated, have comfortable beds, Pure Lakes eco friendly toiletries, LCD TV, DVD player, radio alarm, hairdryer, hospitality tray with Fairtrade produce, ironing board, shoe horn, shoe shine and a sewing kit.
  • Rooms available from £35 per person per night.
  • For online bookings we have a minimum stay of 3 nights.
  • In common with many establishments, our online bookings carry a small supplement, please phone or email for our best rate.
  • Please telephone if you wish to stay for 2 nights.
  • We do not offer single night stays.
  • We offer 10% discount for bookings of 7 nights or more when made directly – sorry but this offer is not available online.
  • Normally single sex parties of more than 3 people are not accepted and we reserve the right to refuse such bookings made online.
  • Check in is between 16:00 and 21:00 (4pm and 9pm) unless agreed otherwise.
